Supporting students with exceptional potential from disadvantaged backgrounds
Gülseren Özdemir Outstanding Success Scholarship was launched in the memory of Gülseren Özdemir who devoted her life to education to support students who make up our future, focus on success by challenging difficulties and show outstanding results in secondary education.
10 secondary school students benefit from the project. In addition to scholarship support, students are provided with voluntary mentoring support, books/stationery, technical assistance, participation in special education programs, online English language education and university preparation support. Through participation of students in pre-university summer school, students acquire knowledge about university life, and get familiar with academia and analytical thinking.
